Since 2006, EGEX has operated as a Cairo-based food export company connecting reliable Egyptian origin supply with international demand — sourcing agricultural commodities, fresh produce, frozen goods and charcoal, then consolidating and exporting at scale across the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

How to buy bulk commodities from Egypt
EGEX exports a broad range of Egyptian-origin products: bulk grains (wheat, maize, rice), pulses and legumes (lentils, chickpeas, fava beans), oilseeds (sesame, sunflower), fresh citrus and vegetables, IQF frozen produce, and export-grade hardwood and shisha charcoal. Every product is sourced to your specification and quality-controlled before shipment.
We operate active export corridors across six world regions: the Middle East (Gulf and Levant), North Africa (Maghreb), East Africa (via Red Sea and Indian Ocean ports), Central Africa, Europe (including EU-compliant markets), and the CIS and Eastern Europe. New destinations can be opened on request.
We work from one 20-foot FCL container per commodity type. Multi-commodity LCL consolidations and bulk vessel lots can both be accommodated — mention your target volume in the quote request and we will advise on the most cost-efficient option.
