Egypt occupies a unique position in global agricultural trade: a major grain-consuming country with direct access to North African, East African and Middle Eastern markets via the Mediterranean and Red Sea. As one of the world's largest wheat importers Egypt also produces significant quantities of maize, rice, oilseeds and pulses that are available for export to third-country buyers.
EGEX Trading has operated as an Egyptian grain and commodity exporter since 2006, building direct relationships at the farm and processor level across the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt. That origin access allows us to source to specification — grade, moisture, impurity, packaging — rather than simply listing what is available on the spot market.

Hard and soft wheat varieties, sourced from Egyptian cooperatives and consolidated for FCL or bulk vessel export. Common grades: No.2 and above, protein on request.
